Job Description

  • Fleet Health, Safety and Environment Processes/ Programs
  • Execute and coordinate annual HSE plans/ programs and initiatives to meet regulatory requirements and the HSE needs of the stakeholders and continuously monitor each planned activity until its completion
  • Promotes safety consciousness among employees by providing accurate and informative data, conducting safety meetings, giving timely feedback, on safety suggestions and supporting the safety program(s) within the Fleet team
  • Lead initiatives to ensure workplace conditions that affect the health and safety of employees are corrected or mitigated with control procedures
  • Overseeing all aspects of health, safety, and environmental programs with the Fleet team to maintain full compliance with applicable local laws and regulations
  • Serving as HSE subject matter within the Fleet team for new process hazard analysis, management of change, incident investigation, emergency planning and response
  • Health, Safety and Environment Performance
  • Monitor the region’s country fleet HSE performance for trends or other indicators of performance, develop and implement strategic solutions as part of a timely intervention that will improve the performance results as required
  • Perform self-assessments, audits, and inspections across the region to ensure conformance to Regional HSE guidance and management system; communicates all findings, concerns, and deficiencies to the responsible stakeholders to effect timely and necessary corrections.
  • Generate monthly & quarterly HSE reports for submission to HSE Managers’ reporting.
  • Set up dashboard for a collective overview of the HSE performance across the region.
  • Health, Safety and Environment Awareness
  • Plan, develop and manage Country Fleet HSE training matrix and competence assurance standard requirements for projects and operations and to fulfill local regulatory requirements
  • Develop and implement Fleet HSE Training module across the region; to partner with HR L&D for the necessary rollout.
  • Generate/ Issuance of HSE bulletin/ information at local level to increase awareness/ knowledge on the relevant HSE incidents and/or new industrial practices.

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in HSE Fleet Coordinator / Ass Manager
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health, Safety Management, Environmental Science or Logistics will be preferred
  • Demonstrate fluency in English and local language, both written and spoken
  • Skilled in MS Office, especially excel.
  • Strong in accident transport investigation
  • Solid understanding of trends and data analysis
  • Having good knowledge about defensive driving / safety riding
  • Able to deliver training safety to drivers/riders
  • Good knowledge about ISO 39001 will be advantage
  • Good interpersonal skill
  • Can work with minimum supervision
  • Having skill analysis for predict hazard and determining control in the road transport
  • Having knowledge about DG transport
