Overview role responsibility:
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Accounting and Tax Manager to lead our regional accounting operations and tax compliance efforts across Southeast Asia. This role ensures accuracy, transparency, and alignment with our financial goals.
What a day at work for you will look like:
- You will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, supervising a team to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- You will ensure all financial records are reconciled, maintained, and in line with both global policy and local regulation.
- You will lead the monitoring, reporting, and compliance of all tax-related activities, collaborating with consultants and tax authorities as needed.
- You will analyze financial data, investigate variances, and generate actionable insights to support business decisions.
- You will implement and enforce standardized accounting practices across all operating countries.
Is this you?
- A compliance champion: Strong understanding of tax regulations and accounting standards across Southeast Asia.
- A team-focused operator: Experience managing accounting teams with a focus on accuracy and accountability.
- A process improver: Passion for creating systems that reduce risk and enhance reporting quality.
- 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a regional or multi-country environment
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations, and tax planning
- Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite, or similar)
- Great attention to detail and a high level of integrity
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance teams
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
