How did it all start?

Founded on March 15, 1991, in Surabaya as PT Anglomas International Bank (Amin Bank), the

bank was acquired by Tolaram Group and transformed to PT Bank Amar Indonesia (Amar Bank)

in 2014. It has then undergone a significant digital transformation to become one of the

country's forerunning fintech institutions through its award-winning digital lending platform,

Tunaiku.

About the Position:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join our Finance & Operations team as an Automation & Process Optimization. This role focuses on improving operational efficiency, data accuracy, and control reliability through automation and process improvements. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with data, systems, and cross-functional teams to simplify complex workflows and reduce manual effort..

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions to support finance and operational processes.
Analyze existing workflows to identify inefficiencies, manual activities, and improvement opportunities.
Translate business requirements into structured, scalable, and well-documented automation logic.
Perform data validation, reconciliation, and consistency checks to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Identify, investigate, and resolve data or process discrepancies in a timely manner.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and automation initiatives.
Support internal reporting, audits, and compliance activities by maintaining accurate documentation, SOPs, and control logic.
Monitor and maintain existing automation to ensure reliability and ongoing effectiveness.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by proactively proposing and implementing solutions.
Perform ad-hoc analysis or special projects as required.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in automation, data operations, finance operations, reconciliation, audit, or process improvement roles.
Hands-on experience building or maintaining automation solutions using at least one of the following: Google Apps Script, Python, or SQL
Strong analytical and logical thinking skills with high attention to data accuracy and validation.
Experience working with large, complex, or high-volume datasets.
Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Fluent in English (oral and written).
