What you will do
- Handle day-to-day business cases in the area of account receivables, account payable, bank posting and booking of invoices in accordance with the directives
- Clarify query invoices with client accounting and our operations department
- Prepare cash book and book incoming receipts & outgoing payments in our accounting system.
- Check and make sure accuracy of our for non-job related out-going invoices issued,
- Monitoring VAT, WHT and COD collection, sending monthly SOA to all customers & agents
- Perform reconciliation and arrange payment for payable, overseas agents and inter-companies, and handling account queries, if any.
- Create Faktur Pajak and Vat Return.
- Create Withholding tax slip (Bukti Potong)
- Do reconciliation related to Tax Art 23, Art 4 (2), and VAT
- Generate monthly report for account receivables and payable by deadline given.
- Check advance payment and reimbursement request
- Manage Prepayment, Prepaid Expense, and Accruals
- Manage file and archive
- Support Finance manager related to Financial Statement reporting
- Assist in the month-end closing and year-end reporting.
- Handle internal and external audit request
Preferred qualifications
- Minimum 5 years in the accounting, preferably in freight forwarding industry
- Proficient in MS Office (excel, powerpoint, words, etc.)
- English language (required)
- Qualified Accountant
- Knowledge of international accounting (IFRS/IAS)
- Knowledge of national accounting
- Knowledge of local taxes eg VAT, WHT etc
- Sectoral knowledge
- SAP & CW1 knowledge
- Financial and business administration knowledge
