About the Role
Tax specialist is a centralized function unit for Gojek based in Jakarta that handles any tax related to compliance, day-to-day operation, and audit process.
What You Will Do
- Helping to manage day-to-day tax compliance (VAT and WHT), including preparing monthly reconciliation
- Helping to manage annual corporate CIT return
- Liaise with other functions and products and have good communication and update
- Liaise with an external party i.e vendor) related to the tax question
What You Will Need
- 2-3 years of experience in similar
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (Bahasa and English).
- A team player that is used to operating cross-functionally and cross-jurisdiction/culture
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, and high-growth organization
- Open to challenging projects outside areas of experience or comfort zone and scope

There is always room to improve our process to meet one goal for our stakeholders to easily understand the process despite the barriers. The chances to leverage skills and competencies are always on a plate, as we are giving presentations to colleagues and vendors, explaining processes, and tax impact, monitoring the details and being critical and analytics on it too.
