Love, Bonito is a digital-first company on a mission to empower the everyday Asian woman and inspire self-confidence. We are the leading direct-to-consumer womenswear brand, headquartered in Singapore, with an omni-channel presence across Indonesia and Malaysia, a retail franchise in Cambodia, and are fast expanding into international markets namely Japan, Hong Kong SAR China and United States of America.
Founded in 2010, we are proudly female-founded with more than 70% female representation across our organisation, leadership and STEM roles (#girlpower!). We raised a US$50M Series C round in 2021 and know that we’re on the cusp of something great, where we’re working towards becoming the most thoughtful brand globally, for the Asian female consumer, especially when it comes to our products, community and experiences.

The Role
You will have the front-seat experience and exposure in impacting women across the country by the awareness you will be initiating through influencers, media, and community events. The role will be the liaison for external media partners, brand partnerships and retail marketing. Additionally, a collaboration between internal cross-functional teams and focused on best practices and needs across deliverables. Reporting to Senior Marketing Executive and working closely with the Indonesia and HQ Brand team, you will play a pivotal role for Love, Bonito’s growth and market expansion through owning the mindshare of women across Indonesia.
Main Responsibilities :
Media
- Collaborate with HQ team to build internal and external strategic communications plan to amplify Love, Bonito vision and mission and raise brand awareness in Indonesia.
- Build meaningful copywriting and press releases for media coverage.
- Foster genuine and lasting relationships with the media.
- Collaborate with the Creative team to develop PR Kits whenever necessary.
- Plan, execute, and lead media events and conduct post-mortem review.
Brand Partnership & Community
- Build data-driven innovation to constantly grow LB to be the top-of-mind brand.
- Build a holistic PR strategy which includes scoping new brand partnership and/or external potential partners to work with to drive brand awareness in the market
- Maintain and foster relationships with relevant leasing management for Retail Marketing, media/ external partners from national to local-city reach from digital-to-traditional corporations/ individuals.
- Initiate Retail Marketing activities to strengthen community presence and drive Retail Store awareness.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to plan and execute community initiatives through driving online or offline events (including but not limited to press events/previews, influencer networking sessions, and VIP events), workshops and meetups to engage Love, Bonito women and promote Love, Bonito brand values to existing customer base and prospects.
- Conduct market research and new market / geographical penetration through community events, and partnerships.
- Copywriting for all marketing collaterals: press releases, retail marketing relevant assets etc.
Requirements & Experiences :
- Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, public relations, communications, or related studies.
- 1-2 years working in Marketing, PR, communication, advertising, or other similar roles.
- Preferably female & advocate of the female voice.
- Experience in industry such as Brand / Retail Fashion / Digital Agency and proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Powerpoint will be a plus.
- Great copywriting skills both in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Experience in project management.
