About the Role

Fasten your helmet and climb on board if you’re ready to be our Regional Operations Manager for Jakarta. Reporting to the Regional Operations Head, you oversee the Operations team in your region - specifically, the full spectrum of operational activities related to our driver partners. This includes operations monitoring (i.e. acquisition, onboarding, engagement, suspension), certifying the SOP is in compliance with district regulations, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the full capacity of the performances of our driver-partners. Your efforts will help ensure that our driver partners in the region are given the care, experience, and opportunities they deserve.


What You Will Do

  • Responsible for completed orders and profit and loss target achievement
  • Provide analytics to support operations team such as BCR, fraud rules, etc. at the regional level
  • Deploy defined strategies from operations perspective during the process of establishing the new area of service
  • Ensure SOP and legal compliances in the region
  • Support ROH to oversee all districts and branches operations
  • Analyze driver states & their behavior metrics to generate more reliable supply
  • Support ROH / VP Region in product changes roll out in the region

What You Will Need

  • At least 5 years experience in Supply Chain planning, preferably at the managerial level and from Multi-National Company
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills using various improvement tools and methods
  • Good understanding of supply and demand planning
  • Solid experience in project management and managing stakeholders
  • Able to create creative solutions toward operation issues and empower the relevant team to execute properly
  • Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia & proficient in spoken and written English
About the Team

Our Regional Operations Manager team is based in Jakarta. We have one main goal: to strengthen our market share in the SEA market, combining strategy with local insights to propel our business onwards and upwards. We maintain a holistic view of Gojek within the Jakarta team, constantly striving better to understand the region's issues from the ground and provide tech-based solutions and actionable steps forward. We collaborate with internal (Product Management and other cross-functional teams), external (driver-partners, merchant-partners, and customers), and stakeholders to keep a holistic view of Gojek in Jabodetabek. We also strive to understand the region's issues and work to solve them with on-point actions and deliverables. 

In the past, our team has worked on projects predominantly surrounding our driver-partners - their experiences using our services, their life cycle, their engagement with the company, and growing our driver-partner family, among other things. One of our favorite projects was collaborating with the Gojek foundation to help our driver-partners during the COVID-19 pandemic (Posko Aman, Driver Vaccination Program). More than establishing Gojek as the most trusted partner in the region (and beyond), we want to make sure our driver-partners genuinely enjoy being part of our family and work to make sure they understand how appreciated they are. 

When we aren't busy with work, you'd probably find us binge-watching Netflix shows or grabbing some coffee-to-go at a café. Working from home has been a strange time for many of us, so our team has been taking time on our calls to trade advice on the best ways to keep sane with this new work setup. We're made up of cycling enthusiasts, video game lovers, and talk show fanatics. Once COVID subsides, we're excited to get together for our weekly in-person hangouts again.
