Japanese Hostess - AYANA Komodo

AYANA Hospitality is seeking a talented and graceful Japanese Hostess to join the team at AYANA Komodo, a luxurious resort located on the scenic island of Komodo. As our Japanese Hostess, you will be responsible for welcoming and attending to guests from Japan, making sure that they have an unforgettable experience throughout their stay. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional service and has a deep understanding of Japanese culture and hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests upon arrival and showing them to their tables
• Assisting guests with menu selection and providing recommendations
• Serving food and beverages to guests in an elegant and efficient manner
• Ensuring that guests are satisfied with their meals and drinks
• Responding to guest queries and complaints in a professional and timely manner
• Maintaining an accurate record of orders and payments
• Collaborating with other team members to ensure a smooth operation of the restaurant

• At least 2 years of experience as a Japanese Hostess or a similar role
• Fluent in Japanese, both spoken and written
• Knowledgeable about Japanese food, drinks, and culture
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Positive attitude and a team player mindset
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
