Amar Bank is one of the most technologically advanced digital banks in Indonesia. Our leading
digital lending product, Tunaiku has the distinction of being the first FinTech product in
Indonesia. We are also the first digital bank on the cloud. As the first profitable digital bank, we
managed to get listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange.
How did we manage to do that?

How did it all start?
Founded on March 15, 1991, in Surabaya as PT Anglomas International Bank (Amin Bank), the
bank was acquired by Tolaram Group and transformed to PT Bank Amar Indonesia (Amar Bank)
in 2014. It has then undergone a significant digital transformation to become one of the
country's forerunning fintech institutions through its award-winning digital lending platform,
Tunaiku.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Sales to lead our Retail Lending Function. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of sales operations related to consumer lending products. This role requires strategic thinking, strong leadership abilities, and a proven track record in driving sales performance. The Head of Sales will be instrumental in developing and executing sales strategies to achieve business objectives and revenue targets.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive growth and achieve sales targets for retail lending products.
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales professionals including telesales representatives, partnership managers, and offline sales agents.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with company partners to maximize sales opportunities and expand market reach.
- Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze data, and identify areas for improvement to optimize sales processes and outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and operations to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
- Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends and competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making.
- Provide regular reporting and updates on sales activities, performance, and forecasts to senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field. MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a senior management role within the consumer lending or financial services industry.
- Proven track record of successfully driving sales growth and achieving targets in a competitive market environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse sales team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
- Deep understanding of consumer lending products, industry regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Experience in managing sales teams across multiple channels including telesales, partnerships, and offline sales.
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Plus point if
- Experience working with retail lending products such as personal loans, credit cards, or installment loans.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales management tools for tracking and analyzing sales performance.
- Certification in sales management or relevant professional qualifications.
We exist to cover the full area of lending to retail customers based on a portfolio approach. We are very data-driven and strategic to make decisions on Retail propositions through analyzing, interpreting, elaborating data, visualizing, and presenting results.
It’s our job to underwrite, create portfolio management reports, design collection strategies to risk costs, and RWA optimization. We work closely with relevant stakeholders actively to build the network globally.
