About the Role

As our Enterprise Risk and Governance Manager, you'll take the wheel in overseeing the internal and external reporting procedures of risk metrics, and create actionable insights for various Risk teams. You’ll establish a rigorous risk governance and risk reporting program to the Risk Management Committee and Audit Committee. Working closely with Operating company ERM teams on key material risks and mitigations, you'll also manage the aggregation of the Risk at GoTo level, and cultivate a risk management culture centered around trust and confidence amongst external stakeholders. Your efforts will directly bolster the continuous improvement of our platform integrity aimed at further amplifying users’ trust perception of Gojek, ensuring a safe platform they can count on and love to come back to.

What You Will Do

  • Being part of the GoTo group, the role provides support to the Risk Management Committee (RMC) which in turn supports the Audit Committee in the oversight of the Group's risks and mitigations, as well as the adequacy and effectiveness of the Group's risk management and internal control system.
  • Close engagement with the Operating Company’s ERM teams and business risk teams to establish risk strategies, identify, assess and monitor risks (including new and emerging risks as well as catastrophic risks) in a structured manner, and develop appropriate risk mitigation plans in accordance with the GoTos risk appetite and thresholds.
  • Aggregation of GoTo level risks and oversight; monitor and report on the level of compliance to the Risk Appetite Statement and Risk Tolerance Framework which provides guidance to Management on key risk parameters.
  • The role will also assist the Head GoTo Enterprise Risk Management in ensuring overall risk oversight for Operating Company -
  • Report to the RMC and the AC on material matters, findings, and recommendations pertaining to risk management and also work with the Opco ERM Team and business risk teams to implement the appropriate risk management policies and procedures.
  • Act as the risk advisor and promote risk awareness and accountability amongst Management and Staff in the Operating Company.
  • Facilitate the preparation/update of the risk registers (and relevant risk reports containing risk indicators) which identify and assess the key risks facing GoTo’s business and review / monitor the internal controls to mitigate the risks. This entails identifying the risk areas where there exist gaps pertaining to policies or processes, and/or ineffective or inadequate resources (system, people, others), in order that the appropriate mitigation plans can be developed and implemented.
  • Promote a risk and control awareness culture within the GoTo through risk awareness programs (communications, workshops, dialogues) and sharing of past learnings

What You Will Need

  • Between 4-10  years of related experience in Governance, Risk, and Compliance.
  • Experience working with Board/Management level Risk committees is a must.
  • Advance knowledge in Governance, Risk, and Compliance related issues, and strong knowledge in recent compliance issues across industries/payment services.
  • Knowledge of GRC tools and experience with different business processes.
  • Ability to communicate and explain information and changes that may impact external customers.
  • Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail in order to quickly identify problem points, foresee potential breaches and always be several steps ahead of the game.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and multi-tasking skills in order to effectively install and stabilize new management processes and spearhead risk discussions amongst stakeholders of various levels.
  • Strong Excel and presentation skills, basic working knowledge of SQL
