Your main duties in flying with us:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key contacts at existing suppliers.
- Proactively identify and onboard new suppliers to expand our product offerings and meet customer demand.
- Negotiate contracts, rates, and allotments to secure the best possible deals and inventory access.
- Address supplier performance issues, resolve conflicts, and ensure adherence to contractual agreements.
- Conduct regular business reviews with suppliers to evaluate performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and foster collaboration.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure accurate and up-to-date information on our platform, including availability, pricing, descriptions, images, and amenities.
- Implement strategies to optimize inventory allocation and yield management to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify new opportunities and adjust our supplier strategy accordingly.
- Work closely with our technology team to ensure seamless integration of supplier systems with our platform.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with suppliers to resolve connectivity problems.
- Stay informed about industry best practices and technological advancements in travel technology.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supplier performance, such as booking conversion rates, cancellation rates, customer reviews, and revenue generation.
- Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in supplier relationships and product offerings.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations on supplier performance for management.
- Work cross-functionally with other departments, including marketing, customer service, and product development, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new initiatives and strategies to enhance our overall supplier management program.
Mandatory belongings that you must prepare:
- Bachelor's degree in tourism, hospitality, business administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in supplier management within the travel industry, preferably with an OTA or tour operator.
- Strong understanding of the online travel landscape, including distribution channels, booking systems, and revenue management principles.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting, with experience using relevant tools and technologies.
- Familiarity with travel technology systems and APIs is a plus.
