We’re looking for an experienced
Payroll Manager to join our
Operations team in the
Regional Talent Solutions business (visit
https://talenthub.glints.com/ for more information) to help grow our team across Asia. This role will oversee payroll processing, compliance, system optimization, and stakeholder management while ensuring efficiency and accuracy in all payroll-related functions in Indonesia, and supporting the regional team in SEA.
What You'll Be Doing
- Oversee accurate and timely payroll processing for all employees, ensuring compliance with Indonesian labor laws, BPJS, PPh 21 tax, and other statutory requirements
- Manage payroll-related accounts, tax deductions, audits, and statutory reporting (e.g., e-SPT PPh 21, 1721-A1)
- Maintain and optimize payroll/HRIS systems (e.g., HubSpot, Talenta, Sunfish), driving automation and efficiency improvements
- Handle payroll-related inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and collaborate with HR, Finance, and external vendors to ensure seamless operations
- Educate employees on payroll policies, tax calculations, and benefits
- Generate payroll reports, reconcile payroll accounts, and ensure accurate GL mapping and cost allocation
Who We Are Looking For
- 7-10 years of experience in payroll processing, with at least 3 years in a managerial role, preferably handling 1,500+ headcounts
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian payroll regulations, tax laws, and BPJS administration
- Proficiency in HRIS and payroll software (e.g., HubSpot, Talenta, Sunfish, SAP)
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills (you will lead a 4-5 people in the team)
- Excellent stakeholder management and experience working in an international environment
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle confidential data responsibly
- Strong interpersonal skills with a high level of integrity and professionalism
