Credit Ops - Senior Analyst/Associate Manager

About the role:

As the Credit Ops Senior Analyst/Associate Manager, you will be the product expert to customers & internal Aspire teams where you will ensure smooth operations, resolve product escalations, identify and fill process gaps, and drive product improvements with the Tech team. The role primary focus area is with Credit Operations which manage all aspects of our product Advance Limit and Advance Transfer in the South East Asia markets.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Daily Operations - Operate and oversee back-end functions on our tech platform such as manual processing of transactions/requests, activating features, invoicing, applying repayments/late fees, cashback, collateral management.
  • External Client Management - Interact with our customers to solve their issues/concerns, advise solutions in-line with our product capabilities and internal SOP.
  • Internal Cross Functional Collaboration - Collaborate with various internal operational departments/teams to troubleshoot on issues, derive solutions, and create new SOP. 
  • Build Processes and Frameworks - Own or Co-build/design existing or new processes to achieve the operational efficiencies of reduced time (SLAs), reduced errors, and better client experiences.
  • Ad-Hoc Projects - Work on ad-hoc projects to improve the operational efficiencies of reduced time (SLAs), reduced errors, and better client experiences.

Qualifications:

  • Payments experience: 3-5 years of experience working in the payments space; experience related to loan products would be a plus.
  • Product knowledge: Good understanding of credit risk for payment products such as credit limits, repayment, late interest and card payments.
  • Problem-solver: Motivated to make improvements and have an impact by identifying issues, analyzing root causes, implementing sustainable solutions and following up on action plans
  • Operational focus: A background in scaling processes in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and reliability.
  • Strong analytical abilities: Good data analytical skills with data sets and making inferences and conclusions.
  • Collaboration: Good communication and coordination skills and the ability to lead credit-related projects while collaborating with different stakeholders
  • Adaptability: Ability to support any new initiatives and adapting processes to fit with changes in regulations and infrastructure.
  • Customer-driven: Always putting customers first to provide the best quality service.
  • Outstanding communicator: Ability to communicate concisely and clearly to customers and internal stakeholders, and writing to execute SOP.
