Business Development Manager South Asia / Transpacific

Are you keen to embark on a new challenge that will test your capability?
Make full use of your expertise to sell, develop and retain business on the assigned trade lane for all products and hold overall responsibility to drive customer development through the sales at origins (Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia & Australia) with destination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate own new business on the assigned trade lane as per agreed targets on volume, revenue and etc

  • Grow the assigned trade lane by supporting other sales (Global / Regional / Local / Overseas Sales) on their customers’ opportunities

  • Perform joint sales calls with sales locally and overseas

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive route plan aimed at identifying the top regional/industry opportunities and expanding business to both new and existing accounts in cooperation with product team

  • Identify, develop and maintain relationships with key decision makers at all levels, shippers, consignees, carriers, product management and overseas offices within the trade lane

  • Work with procurement team for all mode of transport for pricing and costing strategy, carriers / airlines relations whenever necessary

Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelor degree and above, preferably in Business Admin / Logistics and Supply Chain Management
  • Business development and hunting ability for new business
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in similar capacity as trade lane developer
  • Knowledge in both Air and Sea products required
  • Possess established and solid customers contacts with global trade companies
