Business Development Strategy
- Collaborate with sales, marketing and management to plan and executive initiatives to attract large sized prospects.
- Set the strategic direction for the business development team by outlining target customer profiles and areas of need.
- Develop a keen understanding of key prospect needs to help the business identify potential improvement to our products and services.
- Target / Goals : Number of acquisitions per month, monthly revenue target, average account size.
Team Management
- Ensure that business development operations are organised and efficient.
- Drive the performance of the business development team.
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, training and monitoring of business development executives to ensure that the capability of the team is sufficient to meet business objectives.
- Target / Goals : Hiring schedules, training programs, team outreach activities, team acquisition, account size.
Sales Operations
- Ensure data completeness in the CRM system and review operational records to ensure all potential qualified leads are approached.
- Target / Goals : Data Completeness, data accuracy, average response time.
Commercial Reporting
- Prepare presentations and reports to update management on lead gen performance.
- Target / Goals : Ensure that deliverables are accurate and delivered in a timely manner.
Requirements
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in Business, communications, or other related fields.
- At least 3 - 4 years experience in business development and sales
- Experience in the logistics industry would be preferred

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint)
