About the Role
They say no man is an island, and this notion holds particularly true for this role. As our Special Projects Business Analyst for GoFood, you’ll be an instrumental cog in the GoFood wheel of Gojek that directly impacts the company’s growth for its Food services. Your main objective will be to drive projects backed by extensive analysis and data-driven decisions. Best yet, you’ll have the opportunity to flex your analytical and stakeholder management skills, getting us even closer in expanding our Food business in Indonesia and beyond.
What You Will Do
- Lead and execute special projects independently with support from other Food teams (the role would be focusing on cloud kitchen business stream, and other new revenue streams)
- Running a project management for multiple projects at different stage & complexity
- Developing and running complex analysis to support business decision
- Leverage data from dashboards as well as other sources to derive insights as a basis of rationale and recommendations in decision making processes
- Design and develop dashboards to track business and product performance
What You Will Need
- At least 3 years of experience in a business analytics or business intelligence role at a tech or consulting company
- Strong business acumen, an end-to-end the problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work in increments and exponents and balance attention to detail with swift execution
- Strong communication and project management skills with experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; Experience with SQL will be a plus
- Familiarity with Metabase or Tableau will be a plus
- Ability to move and execute quickly in a time-efficient manner to allow for continual iteration is a core competency of our team
About the Team
Our GoFood Special Projects team is based in Jakarta. As nasi goreng is to the people of Indonesia, we are to Gojek: providing the nourishment to sustain our business from the inside out. Our main responsibility is to grow the Food business.
How does one achieve this, you may ask? By prioritizing what matters and is important for our users & merchants. For instance, providing insights on what cuisine would be best featured for our users based on their preference. What drives us is our shared sense of putting customers first and achieving that by dividing and conquering as a team. We are working on several projects now, including one about how to increase the competitiveness of our cloud kitchen services in Indonesia, and the growing Food business in South East Asia.
