Job Title:  Social Marketing Specialist 

Location: Jakarta, Indonesia 

 

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THE ROLE:

At YouTube, we play a part each day to inspire, educate and celebrate YouTube’s amazing creator community and to help them thrive on our platform. YouTube Indonesia is looking for a Creator Social Marketing Specialist to foster and engage with the creator community through social initiatives.

As a Creator Social Marketing Specialist, you will help build and execute the social media strategy and campaigns for YouTube Indonesia. You will play a key role in the roll out and localisation of Indonesia Creator Social marketing strategy, including ideation, assets creation, content development, execution, reporting and overall project management. You will work in close collaboration with internal cross functional teams within the country and across the region, external partners, and agencies to identify the best go-to-market strategy and implementation to drive engagement and scale, bringing the initiatives to life across owned social and paid social. 

Your work is instrumental in developing the YouTube creator community in Indonesia. We need someone who is passionate about the YouTube brand and has a deep knowledge of Indonesian creators, strong in execution and project management, well-versed in social media marketing analytics and has previous owned and paid social experience.

 

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: 

  • Owning creator social content and strategy YouTube Indonesia across all social platforms, including paid
  • Community Management with a focus on identifying engagement opportunities within Creator Community
  • Inform and implement paid media to drive scale
  • Performance reporting and identifying opportunity areas for improvement, developing presentations for XFN collaboration
  • Brief and work with agency partners to align, develop and ensure deliverables are being completed on time
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to align, inform and receive support to deliver social marketing plans
  • Constant experimentation and content innovations by identifying breakthrough content opportunities
  • Helping inform internal teams of key trends and/or brand crisis situations on social media that can impact the business

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Degree in Business, Communications, Marketing preferred, or equivalent industry experience
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in Social Media Strategy, preferably in the tech industry or Consumer goods marketing roles across agencies or client side
  • Solid project management experience
  • A passion for the YouTube ecosystem, digital culture and current online social trends
  • Ability to communicate effectively, in written and verbal forms, in English and Bahasa Indonesia
  • Proficient understanding of social media analytic and experience with paid social preferred
  • Prior experience with communicating with local and geographically dispersed stakeholders to deliver clear instructions and messaging
  • Passionate about working as part of a larger team to deliver on a common goal
