About the Role

As a Senior Market Research Analyst for the SEA market, you will be a part of a fast-paced team responsible for advising on survey setup, and providing analysis of the market, consumer behaviors, and brand performance, while maintaining a high level of quality assurance throughout each step of processes - you will also have the opportunity to develop a deep-dive custom analysis under the guidance of research leads.

Working alongside a broader team of brand marketing and creative strategists, your knowledge will help us to build go-to market strategy and communication plans which create meaningful relationships with our users.

What You Will Do

  • Use statistical software (SPSS, SAS, R, etc), google workspace (gsheet) or microsoft excel to uncover and evaluate consumer behaviors as well as assist more junior team members in running statistical analysis
  • Apply programming skill to help automate standard statistical procedures and chart creation  
  • Create and deliver both formal and informal analysis report for our main stakeholders; marketing, media, strategy & planning, and growth team
  • Triangulate survey results with  secondary researches and collaboration with other researcher and data science colleagues
  • Decide on the correct analytic approaches to measure market performance and evaluate question selection/wording
  • Investigate/raise when issues are discovered and proactively work with third party agency or internal team to find the root cause and resolve them

What You Will Need

  • Extensive experience in planning and executing quantitative research (e.g: questionnaires building, sampling design, weighting methods, statistical analysis) 
  • Advanced knowledge in statistical analysis, and skills in running SPSS or SAS
  • Python, R, coding experiences would be preferred
  • Advanced understanding in brand health tracking and social media listening
  • Enjoy being hands-on with data and analysis
  • Excellent analytical thinking and creative approach dealing with problems
  • Ability to present data findings in an easy to understand manner to internal team less familiar with statistical techniques
  • Passion about consumer and brand and have at least 4 years research experience with some knowledge mainly on Brand Value Proposition, Brand Health Tracking, Segmentation & Concept test

Gojek Research & Insights team has 80+ researchers spread across multiple products and countries. Our very own Market Insight team consists of 2 researchers in ID & VN. We are committed to ensure that user insights are always at the heart of marketing communication and product experiences, through collaboration with the brand , creative and design team. 
Should you have a question about what users are doing in the Gojek app, we are your people! As a multidisciplinary team, we are working to deliver insights and recommendations by ways of merging qualitative, quantitative, analytical, and business research, which will help guide Gojek’s brand or communication decisions.
