About the Role

As a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst for the Sales team, you will be building data products to help Sales team achieve its business objectives.As a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst in the Sales Ops group, you will be working with the Business and Product teams on supporting analytics (predictive modeling, statistics/data driven analysis) and data products (automated dashboards, reports, alerts, and simulation tools) which will create business impact at scale. The cherry on top: you’ll get to be a part of a team that works to help hundreds of thousands of merchant partners across SE Asia to grow their business!
What You Will Do
- Owning problem definition and defining them into analytical problems
- Provide roadmap for complex analytical problem and its technical decision such as library to use/ potential algorithm to use
- Showcasing impact in a broader business context by providing detailed analysis and data visualization
- Understand stakeholder needs, respond professionally, and follow up to ensure satisfaction
- Proactive in developing tools/analysis, and improving business metrics to keep it relevant with company’s growth
- Partnering with Product Manager and Business teams to help them create data driven decisions
- Have at least 4 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, or other related roles that require strong analytical skills, problem-solving, and business acumen (preferably from payment/ fintech industry)
- Expert in advanced SQL and data visualization (e.g. Tableau and Metabase)
- Comfortable working both independently with minimal guidance and in a team setting
- Ability to use critical thinking to manage daily tasks while being goal-oriented
- Ability to transform an ambiguous business or product problem into a well-scoped and impactful analysis
- Have strong statistical knowledge and able to independently select and implement the correct statistical test to answer business questionGood R/Python skills to perform advanced analysis (hypothesis testing, predictive model, clustering, etc) is preferable

Working in the team : The team consists of 10 people (we call ourselves the Super Ten :D), all came from various professional backgrounds but share a commonality of wanting to create impact at scale. We have great respect towards each other, value open and honest communication, and encourage collaborative efforts.There is flexibility in working hours and locations but we will hold you accountable for the delivery of your KRs and initiativesWe operate through zoom calls (30%), whatsapp (30%), asana and slacks (40%)
Working with your manager : As she quoted, "I encourage heavy alignment in the beginning of every project or term, and do 1 or 2 one on one checkpoints weekly to make sure you are not blocked and are driving in the right direction. Hence, you will have flexibility in your approach, and my role is to make sure that you are supported".
