About the Role
As Sales Development Specialist, you play a critical in growing our business, you will be the first buddy for the Commerce Enablement Sales Team, providing assistance on what and how they should do their job. Your main objective will be to provide the Nationwide Sales team with the learning and development activities so that they can know how they can improve their ways of working in achieving the company targets. You will also be responsible to ensure that our sales team clearly understands our product features & processes so that they would be able to be the best consultant for the merchants.
What You Will Do
- Develop learning framework for all sales team, which would include employee onboarding, refreshment training, product knowledge & soft-skills
- Train sales team based on the created learning framework with the goal to support them achieving their targets
- Work with Sales Leaders in HQ, District & Region to improve performance of lacking sales team member
- Create training content for the sales team with regards to sales processes
- Act as the hub between Merchant Academy, PAC Learning & Development, and the sales team
What You Will Need
- At least 2 years of working experience in Training (preferred experience dealing with field team)
- Great communication and understanding skills, able to explain technical terms in a simple and understandable manner
- Familiar with an e-learning platform, PowerPoint, Excel, and able to create training materials
- Proficient in creating slide presentations

About the Team
In the Commerce Enablement team, we consistently strive to implement solutions that allow our merchant-partners in Indonesia (and the greater Southeast Asian region) to sell their products both online and offline. We also work to improve the merchant-partner experience by product innovation and integration with the rest of the Gojek ecosystem.
The Sales Excellence team is part of the larger Commerce Enablement stream based in Jakarta. Our portfolio of products includes merchant-facing solutions that aid our subscribed merchant-partners in their sales operations. Southeast Asia is a highly dynamic market, where products have to react promptly to market trends and shifts, and where product managers and business leads need the flexibility to experiment and iterate fast. With that in mind, as the Sales Excellence team, we provide support to the sales function in achieving operational productivity.
One of the biggest hurdles our team has had to overcome was figuring out the most effective means to create sales flow efficiency while ensuring the team complies with our stipulated policies. We tackled this issue by getting buy-in from the leadership board and taking time to convey the impact of the revamped policies to the wider team. Currently, our team has been collaborating with the SME Sales team on an exciting project that’ll increase the conversion rates of the sales funnel.
We're a highly flexible team with a target-driven mindset.
