What we are expecting from the role...
● You will proactively seek out ways to avoid common software-testing problems such as test case duplication, flaky tests and maintainability
● You will pair with devs to embed quality into the development process
● Apply theoretical knowledge to practice and willingly offer improvements on code, tests, testability and suggest testing tools and frameworks to use
● You will implement and maintain test strategies already provided during the software development process
● Drive the creation of a reliable automated testing suite with strong reporting capabilities that ensures simple, effective analysis of failures for your team to use
Technical skills
● You have worked as a Quality Analyst for 3-4 years as part of a development team, with Devs, Business Analysts, Infrastructure Engineers, Designers etc
● You have experience with using at least one API automation testing framework and UI testing automation
● You have experience with Agile, CI/CD, and different types of nonfunctional testing
● You have experience in using defect tracking and defect management tools
Professional skills
● You can zoom out to the big picture and analyze the impact of changes to the product
● You are a quick learner and enjoy picking up new technology and engineering practices
● You're resilient in ambiguous situations and can approach and tackle problems from multiple perspectives
● You enjoy influencing others and always advocate for quality as a shared team responsibility, yet are open to change
