About the Role
As the Senior Manager of corporate actions for the public policy and government relation’s corporate stream, you will help shape public policies that affect GoTo and its group of companies through engagement with the government and relevant stakeholders. Your strong legal background in navigating the capital market and corporate action-related regulations, your experience in building and nurturing government relations, and your ability to lead will support the PPGR team in addressing regulatory challenges in the capital market and general corporate matters. To this end, you will have to work with various government agencies, non-profit groups, and other institutions while coordinating with internal business teams to ensure alignment. Your work will impact GoTo’s growth through greater public policy awareness among its important stakeholders.
What You Will Do
- Monitor regulatory environment and provide regulatory assessment primarily related to the stock market and corporate actions, including drafting policy position papers and recommendations to management
- Develop government engagement strategies in response to regulatory challenges and crises, translate them into tactical steps, and oversee their implementation
- Engage the government, in particular, the Indonesia Stock Exchange and the Financial Services Authority on matters of compliance that relate to corporate actions in the capital market
- Closely coordinate with, and as necessary lead, internal teams within GoTo and across its group of companies
- Develop relationships with government and non-government stakeholders, civil society, thought leaders, industry associations, and think tanks, and tap into this network to build alliances across relevant policy agendas
- Manage public policy projects involving cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
What You Will Need
- Master’s degree in law
- Seven years of working experience at a reputable law firm at a managerial level with a solid track record of handling capital market related and corporate action matters, and ideally with exposure to policymaking, government relations, or with government experience
- Experience in handling litigation cases would be advantageous
- Solid network across stakeholders relevant to the work experience with demonstrated ability to shape decisions or impact policies
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills and ability to manage projects independently

Our Public Policy and Government Relations Team consists of over 30 people, focusing in PPGR on different streams, such as Financial Services, Corporate Activity, Information and communications technology, and others. Our main responsibility is to establish partnerships and develop solutions to opportunities, as well as regulatory challenges in domains that impact Gojek's business.
