As we look to continue our growth we are looking for a National Product Manager to spearhead our Sea freight operation in Indonesia.聽聽What you will do:聽路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Take over product P&L responsibility along with creating a national product strategy plan (aligned with regional & corporate plans)路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Lead a team of ocean freight executives路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Product set-up and responsibility for execution of SOP's路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Leading procurement and pricing ensuring buying rates are competitive in the market路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Coordinating with Branch Managers and Operations team to ensure timely delivery & superior services to customers路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Collaborating with Trade Lane Managers & Sales team to support customer development and retention management including own sales activities followed by implementation of new or existing customers路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Measuring and benchmark key performance indicators, such as productivity & profitability 路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Monitoring bookings and develop core carrier relationships路聽聽聽聽聽聽 International tender support
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Responsible for the achievement of product targets for own country, defined by the RPM (in regards to Tradelane, Consolidation Strategy and priorities of the Product development)路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Responsible for the implementation of and compliance to the rules of routing & handling procedures within own country路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Implements new product solutions within own country where applicable路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Implements and executes specific Industry Vertical (IV) solutions路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Responsible for the set-up and execution of the product standard operating model within own country路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Supports the Regional Operations Management department in the continuous improvement of the operational processes and systems related to product in charge路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Is responsible for achieving the country鈥檚 targeted product budget with its relevant budgeted KPIs, whereas the responsibility for the KPI P&L is shared with line management. Supports the annual budgeting process for own product within own country
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Performs own selling activities as part of management sales, targeting strategic opportunities聽路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Supports actively the Sales department in the selling process to new customers路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Involves him/herself in the solution design for potential national accounts
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 National responsibility for procurement based on the corporate procurement standards (core carrier policy, space negotiations, volume commitments, volume rebates and other related topics)路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensures the buying rates are at fair market value (national benchmark).路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Makes local procurement decisions in compliance with the corporate procurement instructions.
