The Marketing team at Shopee is responsible for conceptualising and implementing go-to-market activities to achieve increased usage and visibility. The team covers areas including Campaigns Management, Community, Public Relations, Partnerships, Offline Marketing and Design. The Regional Marketing team is responsible for strategizing and implementing go-to-market activities and working with local teams to localise marketing for the specific markets. The Brand and Growth Marketing team covers all aspects of online and performance marketing for the region. This team is responsible for data-driven solutions, tracking and measuring data to reach the targeted customers.

 

Job Description 

  • Manage and lead a function under the Brand & Marketing Partnership team, and take ownership of team development and performance
  • Conceptualise, develop and execute marketing campaigns for Shopee Mall brands, including new launches, activations and thematic campaigns
  • Focus on driving the growth of brands by conducting research, identifying potential partnership opportunities, gaps and areas of improvement 
  • Develop Shopee Mall campaign planning and programs, and manage the implementation and execution of these projects
  • Collaborate and coordinate across both external and internal stakeholders, including working with external partners, internal key account managers, operations, business intelligence and other marketing functions (e.g. social media, PR, design) for campaign planning and optimization
  • Review brand campaign performance, and work on implementing solutions for campaign optimization, involving innovative mechanics, partnerships and activations
  • Manage a team and take ownership of team development and performance

 

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university
  • 6+ years of experience in marketing, campaign management, or project management
  • Experience in e-commerce, retail or FMCG industry preferred 
  • Demonstrated ability in leading and managing a team; outstanding people and project management skills
  • Passionate about building and managing campaigns
  • Excellent organizational abilities and prioritization of initiatives; strong project management skills, and has the ability to breakdown big picture ideas into smaller actionable items
  • Outstanding analytical skills and comfortable with analyzing complex, large scale data sets
  • Result-driven attitude and eagerness to adapt with the dynamic environment of e-commerce
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
