About the Role
As the Lead Product Manager for user spend, you will build and lead the entire product management team for the Money Management stream across all of the countries we operate in today. You will have direct accountability of the entire product strategy.
What You Will Do
- As part of the product team, drive the product vision and strategy, and execute on the prioritized roadmap for your product area by working with engineers and designers to ship features and product improvements
- Highly involved and be responsible to own and drive KR(s) with a help of a dedicated team
- Build delightful customer payment flows by working with external merchants to integrate Gopay Influence peers, stakeholders and key executives through the use of data and logic
- Own key results for your problem area, customer satisfaction, usability, on-time releases, and other critical metrics
- Identify business opportunities and how to best support them with product and platform capabilities
- Develop trusted relationships with engineering leaders, business leaders and stakeholders to drive optimized product delivery
- Strong communication, listening, interpersonal, influencing, and negotiation skills; able to convey important messages in a clear and compelling manner
- Develop commitment in others by communicating clear expectations. Mentoring direct reports, and setting an example in one’s own behavior
What You Will Need
- Around 5 years of successful product management experience in technology powered products. Candidates with demonstrated experience in the payments ecosystem would be preferred
- Demonstrated experience with solving hard customer or business problems at scale
- Proven ability to engage with engineers, designers and company leaders in a constructive and collaborative manner
- Strong business and technical acumen from a global Financial or Payments organization. Global mindset with ability to think about culture, language, and other aspects when putting the customer at the center of all outcomes
- Passion for leading and developing direct reports; coaching & mentoring them towards improving their professional skill sets; ability to lead and influence direct reports remotely
- Ability to manage a large, diverse set of deliverables – vigorously prioritize, stay on top of multiple work streams, monitor progress, hold owners accountable
- Communication style motivated by brevity and purposeful outcomes with experience interfacing with executives
About the Team
Consumer Payments is responsible for building and growing the customers and payments made through GoPay . GoPay is South East Asia’s fastest-growing consumer payments and financial services app and serves tens of millions registered users on a variety of payment avenues, providing the most convenient payment methods in South East Asia.
As part of the User spend team, you will be responsible for increasing user spending across online and offline. You will also be responsible for building and improving the discounting ecosystem, GoPay coins ecosystem, and merchant and promotions discovery and integrations for GoPay e-money and the wallet.
