About the role

The main responsibility is to assist the manager in execution IT standards, asset management, and project

management.

What you will be doing

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS

• Responsible for hardware/software installation and troubleshooting;
• Assist local or regional IT project deployment;
• Schedule upgrades and security backups of hardware and software systems;
• Ensure the smooth running of SZX IS systems, including anti-virus software, print services and email provision;
• Provide users with appropriate support and advice;
• Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies.

SPECIFIC JOB FUNCTIONS

• Install desktop & laptop according to corporate IT policies & guidelines;
• Troubleshoot hardware & software problems in relation to all telephone, printer, PC/Thinclient & Blackberry;
• Administer all local server & IT equipment and monitor LAN & WAN.
• Manage Active Directory services, Symantec Backup Exec, Kaspersky Anti-virus software with best practice
• Provide appropriate support to all corporate application systems, e.g. E-mail, Lync, Citrix/Thinclient, MIDAS, Pegasus, etc.;
• Maintain IT inventory (hardware & software);
• Ensure the security of data from internal and external attack for PC, Access control system, etc.

SPECIFIC ACTIVITIES

• Carrying out any other request made by their manager.

The successful candidate

• Bachelor Degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunication, MIS or related fields
• At least 5 years’ experience in information technology and 1-2 years in Management
• Experience in IT project Implementation
• Strong background in information & network infrastructure and security
• Good knowledge of IT management, infrastructure, security, budget and purchasing
• Good analytical skill with problem solving, decision making and planning skills
• Good leadership, service mind, responsible, positive attitude and able to work under pressure
• Good communication in English
