Founded in Singapore with a passion for new mobility, Bussr SaaS technology empowers fleet operators to have their branded websites and to accept bookings and payments globally. We are looking for a high-performing Sales Director. The successful candidate will meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. Sales director responsibilities include developing key growth sales strategies, tactics, and action plans. Successful execution of these strategies is required to achieve your financial targets. Sales director duties will include hitting annual targets, building relationships and understanding customer trends.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to
- Define and execute the sales and go-to-market strategy with continuous test-learn-iterate cycles to improve efficiency and reduce sales cycles and customer acquisition costs
- Maintain a deep understanding of target customer, user and buyer profiles, behaviors, and relevant value propositions
- Maintain a high level of mobility & logistics industry knowledge, including market trends, technology & infrastructure use, competitive landscape, unmet needs, and opportunities
- Drive the entire sales funnel from prospecting to initial customer engagement to closed sales
- Activate sales and marketing channels including events & conferences, website, partnerships, and Bussr channels
- Adopt a lean start-up approach to building a minimum viable business and go-to-market strategy
- Establish and manage relationships with customers, understand their needs, scope out project engagements, support them in their use of the product, and adopt customer feedback
- Build the customer success strategy, rolling out onboarding support, customer service, and technical support
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to refine the product roadmap and prioritize user features based on customer feedback, and maintain alignment between product and business goals
- Make presentations to senior leadership and decision-makers
- Define and track metrics to measure progress against the GTM plan and sales and retention targets
- Build a sales, marketing, and customer success organization including the roles and hiring strategy
- Oversee team member’s daily activity and development
- Experience with SaaS / MaaS B2B sales strategy development and execution - 7 years
- Experience in Indonesia, Malaysia, India and other regional markets in passenger/cargo transport sector will be a strong plus to your application.
- Experience selling to small and medium mobility / logistics companies - 7 years
- Experience and knowledge in the mobility domain
- People management
- Proven interpersonal, writing and verbal communication skills
- Startup experience is a plus
- Science or computer engineering background is a plus
- Top MBA is a plus
