Reporting to the Regional Head of Procurement, this incumbent will support and implement the governance, compliance control requirement, and process improvement in the region. He/She will have the autonomy to plan and propose contents, schedule, timeline etc. This role also has the autonomy to lead the countries to achieve the expected KPI. Escalation will set in when there is a slip of timeline, resistance by countries and any unforeseen factors that will affect the projects etc.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring governance and control requirements and adherence practices within the frameworks of the Corporate Policies.
- Assist Group HOP to devise and drive strategy for system governance and supplier risk management to manage end- to- end supply chain process including but not limited to spend management, category management, vendor performance management.
- Assist Group HOP to drive and achieve designed KPIs across the region.
- Partners with BUs to identify opportunities for continuous improvement of procurement process, strengthen the level of control group-wide, reducing company business risk.
- Support group wide procurement digitization projects across the region, including system implementation, document preparation and training.
- Perform ad-hoc duties/ project when required.
Requirements
- A degree in Procurement, supply chain or business management
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in procurement and process improvement
- Good knowledge of the procurement process to support Audit preparation and other related topics
- Strong project management skills with a keen interest in Procurement digitalization topics
- Communication skills and stakeholder management experience in matrix organization
- Meticulous to details
- Able to travel when required
