About the Role
We’re looking for talented individuals to join us on our mission to become an indispensable business partner for merchants and to help set the strategic vision, determine that the vision is commercially viable, and then incubate, launch and drive adoption of successful manifestations of the visions in partnership with the broader organization.
The Go-To Market (GTM) team acts as the business team for the Merchant Platform Core Product. You need to lead the GTM working groups and collaborate closely with the product, sales, marketing, ops team for product rollout and adoption of platform features and/or various use cases hosted by GoBiz surfaces.
What You Will Do
- Lead cross-functional GTM working groups (across sales, service, marketing, product, content, finance, legal, BI/Ops) through collaboration and advocacy to evaluate ideas, move workstreams forward, meet deadlines, and ensure alignment throughout the process
- Develop deep merchant insights to develop GTM plans
- Own, define, refine, and implement the GTM project plan for each GTM innovation phase: verify, incubate, launch, and drive adoption
- Monitor and manage the problem areas related to product release, maintenance, development, and enhancements
What You Will Need
- At least 5 years of experience in the domain of GTM
- Experience in B2B domain
- Heavy data analytics in getting the market feedback and growth numbers
- Project management to make alignment for th complex project and many people to align with
- A good communication and leadership
About the Team
Our Merchant Platform team is a large team spread across our Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Singapore, and India’s office. Together with the Engineering and Product teams, the gist of our role is to create an ecosystem of solutions to support our merchant-partners on the Gojek platform better manage and grow their business, while enabling both internal and external product stakeholders to develop merchant-based solutions in a sustainable manner.
Our merchant-partners are one of the core stakeholders in our Gojek ecosystem; they’re involved in various offerings such as food delivery, offline payment acceptance, POS, financial services, deals, and promotions. As the Merchant Platform team, we work closely with our merchant-partners to understand their daily needs and concerns, and relay these insights to our internal product stakeholders to build platforms and interfaces on our mobile apps that ensure our merchant-partners’ success on the Gojek platform. Should you have a question about how to run processes in the development of merchant-partner products, we are your people! Currently, our team has been specifically hard at work tackling issues within the engineering arena to enhance the experience our merchant-partners have utilizing our platform and services. We aim to establish Gojek as the most trusted partner for all our merchant-partners.
The GTM team specifically is focused on driving ambitious growth by supercharging innovation. The team’s central accountability is to successfully verify, incubate, and launch initiatives that provide merchants opportunities to grow via new product extensions. We do this by developing and deploying a set of disciplines that both optimize our GTM approach at each stage and serve as a stage-gate for assessing which opportunities should continue to progress. Our team is extremely customer obsessed, cross-functional, collaborative, disciplined, commercially-minded, and curious.
