Hijra Engineering is the technology backbone of Hijra, the next-generation financial institution offering Sharia-compliant financial products to personal and business customers in Indonesia. Hijra’s financial services are purposefully ethical, inclusive, sustainable, and socially responsible.

We are looking for passionate system engineers/operators to join our engineering team.

Responsibilities

Automate and refine our deployment process
Run, maintain, and improve our infrastructure
Be on a rotation to respond to incidents
Triage production issues

Requirements

Strong understanding of IaaS, PaaS, virtualization/container, and orchestration
Hands-on experience in operating large scale distributed systems
Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia English, both written and verbal communication
Ability to thrive in a fully remote & asynchronous organization
Willingness to understand, share, and live our values

Preferred skills to have

Containerization & Kubernetes
Experienced with Google Clouds
Experienced with Jenkins, Ansible & Terraform
