Water Treatment Supervisor | AYANA BALI

The Water Treatment Spv is responsible for monitoring, operating, and maintaining all water treatment systems within the property to ensure water quality meets operational, health, safety, and environmental standards. This includes potable water, wastewater, swimming pool systems, boiler water, cooling tower water, and sewage treatment plant operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor water treatment plant systems, including filtration etc.
• Monitor daily water consumption and identify abnormal usage patterns.
• Perform routine inspection of pumps, valves, filters, pipelines, tanks, and dosing equipment.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules with Engineering Department.
• Identify potential equipment failures and report corrective actions.
• Maintain treatment equipment cleanliness and calibration.
• Conduct regular water quality testing.
• Ensure compliance with local environmental regulations and hotel safety standards.
• Handle chemicals safely according to SOP and MSDS requirements.
• Monitor wastewater discharge quality before disposal.
• Maintain proper chemical dosing levels for all treatment systems.
• Ensure smooth operation of:
• potable water systems
• swimming pool water systems
• cooling tower treatment
• boiler feed water treatment
• sewage treatment plant (STP)

• Diploma / Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Environmental, Chemical Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 2–3 years experience in water treatment operations, preferably in hotel / resort / building operations
• Basic knowledge of sewage treatment plant operation cooling tower chemistry, boiler water treatment, pool water treatment
• Familiarity with sustainability standards is preferred.
• Understanding of chemical handling and safety procedures
• Familiar with water testing instruments
• Strong attention to detail with good documentation and reporting skills.
• Ability to coordinate with internal departments and external partners.
• Candidates with experience in sustainability certification within hospitality or resort environments will be highly regarded.
