About the role: 

As Warehouse and Fulfillment Ops, you will report to our Sub Region Operation Manager. In this position you will  responsible for the resolution of stakeholder issues of fulfillment issue, stock accuracy, and manage Warehouse cost. We need someone who enable workgroup to efficiently, accurately, and safely complete the customer service requirements as workflows through the production cycle or through the administrative area.


What you’ll do (Responsibilities): 

  • Supervises non-exempt employees on achieving daily performance requirements.
  • Manage costs by tracking costs. Provide input into projected plans. Conduct cost analysis. Evaluate safety costs against production goals. Use cost factors to effectively make sound decisions as well as identify gaps.
  • Manage production workflow. Utilize multi-warehouse systems to predict and direct workflow. Follow computer control commands to redirect workflow within warehouse systems. Understand how all parts are impacted by decisions to redirect workflow.
  • Facilitates the setting of objectives and strategies along with daily tactical planning, budgeting, and workforce requirements.
  • Develops performance measures for workgroups and clarifies inputs and outputs that will be monitored for continuous improvements.
  • Schedules work for the daily activities of the workgroups to maximize available resources.

 

What capabilities you’ll need (Requirements):

  • Bachelor's Degree in business or a related field (e.g., Supply chain Management, Transportation, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering)
  • Proven track record in direct support of transportation/Transportation operations in a Retail/E-Commerce supply chain environment 
  • Min 2 years experience within an operations/distribution/Transportation environment, supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing team members; running workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of employees
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP preferred but not required
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Willingness to continuously learn and problem solve in evolving team environment
  • A pre-existing knowledge of the Logistic industry is a plus
