In January 2020, we had a successful Initial Public Offering and raised more than 209 billion rupiahs in funds from our public stock offering, more than we targeted to achieve. Recently Amar Bank was awarded as The Best Bank in Mortgage 2020 Book 2 category by 2002. In early July, we launched our newest innovative product named Senyumku in addition to our existing other products such as Tunaiku, Nabungyuk, and Tunaiku Invest. Today we have more than 1000 employees and that number keeps growing.

Responsibilities
- Leading the full engineering team (Back End, Web, Mobile, SQA, & Research).
- Creating/enhancing processes within Engineering to make effective and efficient product/project delivery. The process is including but not limited to requirement gathering, system/process designing, code development, testing, and monitoring.
- Creating Software Design Patterns to be implemented in organization.
- Along with CTO to design grand Architecture as well as Technical Roadmap to be implemented in organization. Also making sure that the products’ ecosystem is working well.
- Hire, develop and nurture all Software Engineering talents in the organization.
- Responsible for ensuring that the product vision is realized through excellence in execution by collaborating with VP of Product & Design as well as VP Infrastructure, Operations & Security.
- Program management & engineering execution.
- Together with Research Engineer/Architect work on new technologies research and implementation in the organization.
Requirements
- Work experience as a VP of engineering or in a similar senior-level position at an engineering department (>50 people)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Extensive knowledge of engineering principles and procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Full experience in software development, especially in the Financial Industry (Financial Technology/Digital Banking).
- Experience in implementing distributed systems & microservices architectures.
- Solid experience in implementing Automation Testing at the organization level.
Bonus point if
- Successfully established microservices architecture with high availability and reliability
