About the Team :
The StraitsX team is building the payments infrastructure for Digital Assets in Southeast Asia. We aim to connect millions of individuals and businesses in the region to the Digital Assets market through our suite of products, including Xfers Wallet and Xfers Direct. We partner with some of the leading exchanges in the space, including Binance, Gemini and many others. In 2020, we released our first stablecoin, XSGD, the largest stablecoin in Asia by supply. About the Role

  • UI/UX Manager manages and coordinates the design, development, and enhancement of new and existing products/product lines
  • Evaluates and ensure design feasibility and design optimization.
  • Being a UI/UX Manager ensures the team meets project milestones and completes projects within an established timeline.
  • Evaluates issues provide resolution and communicate to stakeholders. Additionally, UI/UX Manager reports to a VP of UI/UX and is accountable to business unit owners as the second report line.
  • The UI/UX Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.
  • True first-level manager, Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to the approved timeline.

Job Description

  • More than 3 years of experience in the related area as an individual contributor. And more than 3 years of supervisory experience in related field.
  • Continuously manage the UI/UX team outputs to deliver the best in class UI & ux products in class by proving it with the relevant metrics (usability test, net promoter score, etc) as the justification
  • Drive the UI/UX team to be high performing team as in competency (soft skills, hard skills and behaviour's) and impact/goals by focusing on develop strategical to tactical roadmap, team performance assessment, and coaching every each of UI/UX team members to be able to tackle and solve every each UI/UX challenges. 
  • Closing the communication, product requirements, content and technical gap with every stakeholders to guide UI/UX team to be able produce the best result outputs by facilitating necessary workshop in the spirit of collaboration.
  • Evangelist user voice to relevant stakeholders by architecting effective & strategic design solution driven to launch

What We're Looking for

  • Communication & Stakeholder Management. Experience to work cross-functionality with all business and IT Stakeholders. to be the trusted advisor on all things that matter to our customers.
  • Prioritization & Time Management. The action or process of deciding the relative importance or urgency of a thing or things & the ability to use one's time effectively or productively, especially at work.
  • Presentation & Facilitation Skills. a speech or talk in which a new product, idea, or piece of work is shown and explained to an audience. Driving consensus across multiple stakeholders and functions.
  • Leadership (Coaching & Mentoring). Provide training and mentorship to junior UI/UX Designer/Researcher. Together with the Experience Team building and implementing a design libraries and design system with adherence to product branding requirements.
  • Ideation & Build Concepts. Build ideas and develop design concepts that take an end to end view of the customer experience. Evaluate and balance customer desirability. technical feasibility and financial viability of which ideas to take to testing.
  • UI Design. Translate wireframes into usable visual interface design and enhance the creative concept, information architecture, UI, and navigation design for websites, mobile sites, and mobile apps.
  • Interaction & Prototyping. Create engaging user interfaces with well thought out behaviors and understand how consumers interact with the interface. Ability to create wireframes, user flow, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction of design ideas.
  • UI QA & Validation. Collaborate directly with develops to test and prototype UI designs and concepts to make sure the design is implemented as intended
  • Problem & Data Analytics. sourcing and analysing data and turn them into customers behaviour insights.
  • Research & Synthesize Findings / Artefacts. Identify and define the appropriate research approach/method. Also, synthesis findings into valuable customer insights. Ability to develop and identify the right artefacts to demonstrate the insights (blueprint, journeymap, roadmap, etc.)
  • UX Writing & Copy. Ability to create and edit micro-copy with brand tone of voice, that help users complete task and transactions. Choose the right kind of help for the situation (e.g tutorial, notification, micro-copy, etc.)
  • Evaluating Success. Putting the customer first when agreeing, designing, testing, and launching a solution. Having clear metrics and process by which to assess solutions and to evaluate impact on customers as well as the roadmap tp deliver and scale the solutions including the go to market strategy.
