Deskripsi pekerjaan
Founded to transform retail finance, Ajaib Group is an Indonesian fintech unicorn breaking barriers to financial access. Having recently secured a $270M Series C—the single largest funding round in Southeast Asia over the past four years—we are backed by premier global investors including Y Combinator, Ribbit Capital, SoftBank, and SBI Holdings.
To build world-class products, we assemble world-class talent. Supported by our fully hybrid work arrangement, our team spans Eastern Europe, the Middle East, India, and Southeast Asia, allowing you to work with brilliant engineers and builders from around the globe from wherever you are.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Total Rewards Manager to make sure Ajaib pays competitively and fairly in every country it hires in, and can clearly explain why. Reporting to the VP, Performance, Culture & Learning, you will own our compensation, equity and benefits frameworks across Indonesia, Thailand and our contractor markets.
This is a new role for a commercially minded, analytically strong rewards professional who can build robust models, partner closely with Finance and Legal, and turn market data into pay decisions that leaders and employees trust.
- Market Benchmarking & Salary Bands
- Run market benchmarking and keep salary bands current by job family and country (Indonesia, Thailand, contractor markets).
- Manage salary survey sources and maintain a consistent job architecture and leveling.
- Advise Talent Acquisition and hiring managers on competitive offers and out-of-band requests.
- Compensation Cycles
- Model the merit, bonus and promotion budgets for each cycle with Finance.
- Run the cycle end to end, from merit matrices and manager guidance to approvals and Payroll handover.
- Equity (ESOP)
- Set grant guidelines for new hires, refreshes and retention, and keep equity records accurate.
- Benefits
- Lead the 2027 benefits review that People Ops has planned for early 2027.
- Benchmark benefits by country and manage vendors, ensuring local statutory compliance (e.g. BPJS).
- Pay Equity & Governance
- Run an annual pay-equity analysis and recommend actions to close unexplained gaps.
- Own compensation policies and the approval matrix so pay decisions are consistent and auditable.
- Rewards Insight
- Track offer-acceptance losses on pay, compa-ratios and band penetration, and report to leadership.
Requirements
- 4-7 years in compensation and benefits at a tech or financial-services company.
- Multi-country compensation and equity experience, ideally across Southeast Asia.
- Solid grasp of benchmarking, job levelling and pay-equity methods.
- Advanced Excel or financial modelling skills.
- Able to explain pay decisions clearly and work closely with Finance, Legal and senior leaders.
- Fast-paced, high-growth startup or fintech experience is a plus.
Benefits
- Performance Bonus - Get rewarded for the impact you make
- Private Insurance - Comprehensive health coverage for you
- Paid Time Off - Take the time you need to recharge and come back stronger
- Learning & Development - Company-sponsored training, courses, and professional certifications
- Hybrid Work Arrangement - Enjoy the flexibility of working both remotely and from the office
- Career Growth - Work closely with experienced leaders and take on meaningful ownership as we scale
- Employee Perks - Enjoy exclusive discounts, partnerships, and lifestyle perks
- Collaborative & High-Ownership Culture - Work with smart, driven people in cross-functional teams, take ownership, and make a meaningful impact for our users.
