WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Access the opportunities and limitation of the tender during the review stage
• Identify expected reply format, and other commercial constraints to take into consideration during the preparation stage
• Manage deadlines with all the participants during the execution stage, and compile documents
• Check the competitiveness of the tender rates with the sales team during the execution stage
• Providing air freight rates on local charges & freight with clear validity and service details to the internal requestor
• Distributing update on pricing/rate to relevant parties
• Conduct field research and cost revisions to ensure the pricing of services stays competitive in the market, compare prices set by competitors
• Maintain and regularly update a pricing history database

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE

• Bachelor/Master’s Degree in purchasing or management or related field or relevant qualification
• 1-2 years of experiences in a multinational company in freight forwarding & logistics, shipping, airlines or as purchasing/tender specialist in supply chain/transport/manufacturing/trading company
• Ability to build alliances and partnership with other organizations
• Understanding of policy, planning and strategy related to procurement
• Understanding of necessary legal and regulatory documents
