We are looking for a delivery driven Implementation Engineer to join our growing team of solution consultants and engineering to lead our implementation projects internally. You are going to help us deliver needs between operations and engineering, build and develop big impact products and features that improve user/customer experience.
The successful candidate should be a collaborative and enjoys solving problems coupled with some backend engineering work. She/He should be self-starter, high-energy with strong business acumen, analytical skills, and the demonstrated ability to use creative thinking and innovation to solve complex problems.

- Develop a deep understanding of infrastructure and application system and internal / external dependencies
- Understand and maintain production code, maintain, and support multiple applications and infrastructure
- Troubleshoot production systems and self-learn new tools and technologies as per project requirements
- Document and share knowledge of developed or maintained solutions
- Setup policies and procedures to drive efficiency/automation in the engineering operations, including metrics to measure success of the team
- Setup optimised team structure to harvest knowledge
- Configure, integrate, test, and lead implementation projects working directly with clients as well as alongside various internal teams such as Operations, Engineering, and Sales, in order to ensure our clients have strong and secure connections to Quadrant applications
- Resolve implementation issues in a timely fashion through collaboration with various internal teams in order to ensure minimal downtime
- Ensure a smooth life-cycle experience for our clients in moving from project implementation to production support by building a deep understanding of their workflows and communicating them effectively to the relevant teams
- Build a comprehensive understanding of the features and capabilities of our suite of products through on the job learning and training in order to manage client queries quickly and efficiently
- Improve processes, best practices, and enhance efficiency in on-boarding setups and connections through proactively identifying gaps to deliver improved client experience
- Manage projects in a timely and efficient manner to meet production go live dates and regulatory compliance
- Configure and implement solutions with Atlassian tools - including Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management.
- Create/Modify issue types, workflows, statuses, fields, screens, permission schemes, notification schemes, automation rules, and dashboards/reports.
- Help clients to migrate from Server products into Cloud, including all relevant steps - plan, prepare, testing, launch, and support.
- Optimize client platforms - helping to enhance data hygiene through analysis, and recommended simplification actions.
- Help to document technical implementations in a simple way for all users to understand.
- Day-to-day support for all client and internal platforms.
- You are a software or platform engineer and are passionate about operations
- Strong experience in AWS cloud architecture from a resiliency and delivery point-of-view
- You can identify potential bottlenecks in a system and propose improvements
- Good understanding of microservice and event-driven architectures and DevSecOps practices which support relatively complex distributed systems
- Experience with maintaining and supporting cloud-related infrastructures; experience with maintaining various databases is a plus
- Hands-on experience with resilience / chaos / stress testing in a cloud context
- You understand a wide variety of concepts, technologies, and frameworks
- Good hands on experience of NoSQL databases, DynamoDB, NodeJS.
- Good understanding of engineering practices such as test automation, CI/CD, Release automation.
- You have experience with incident response planning and automation
- Independent thinker with a problem-solving attitude and strong work ethic but also willing and able to conform to established architectural constraints
- Demonstrable experience of resolving user queries - this could be as an application support engineer, project manager, or consultant.
- The ability to communicate with both internal and external teams, and work as part of a delivery team, delivering solutions in a timely manner.
- Ideally you will have some experience with Cloud Products.
- Preferably some experience using scripting languages and/or RESTful APIs.
- Hands-on in testing APIs, querying databases, drafting technical flow charts, and using developer tools.
- Familiarity with web APIs, middleware development, and front end development
