Job Purpose:
We are looking for a young, ambitious, technically savvy Business Analyst intern to help us transform ecommerce for brands and retailers in SE Asia.
As a Technical Business Analyst intern you will work with the aCommerce Professional Services team to facilitate technical business requirements drafting and help out on project execution. Working closely with experienced Project Managers, Business Analysts and Developers to translate what a customer wants, into an end product. We’re looking for fresh graduates that have spent their time understanding the key concepts around website frameworks or api integrations and that have a passion for learning.
The key to any successful project is truly understanding and translating business requirements. aCommerce has a very ‘tech first’ approach to its organization, so there will be a variety of areas you can get involved with. Whether it’s front end, back end, testing or technical integration for:
● eCommerce channels (such as Lazada, Shopee and more)
● websites building, maintenance and enhancement
● CRM, ERP or other deeply technical integration

We’re looking for a self sufficient, data driven, analytically oriented individual who’s wanting to take their abstract university learnings and put them to the test in an actual working environment.
This internship (at a minimum of 4 months) can lead into full time employment or other job opportunities at aCommerce.
What you’ll be busy with
● Gathers client business and technical requirements in order to provide project estimation and plan
● Help draft requirements documentation such as BRD & SRS
● Use the aCommerce knowledge base to help streamline requirements in line with existing features for Magento or Shopify requirements for any bespoke features
● Work closely with development & product team to identify solutions in line with the client requirements
● Coordinate with the PM, development teams to discover the optimal implementation path that can be deliver functionalities and features in timelines
● Ensure PM has the relevant information at hand in order to ensure a seamless project transition and successful build phase
What we expect

o Shopify & Magento capabilities
o Google Analytics
o Search Engine Optimization
● Strong interpersonal skills and decision making skills
● Strong English communication both verbal and written
● Self sufficient and a sense of ownership when working
● Strong attention to detail and ability at understanding complex systems
● Ability to thrive under pressure
