Glance Indonesia
Glance Indonesia team is already functional with a superb editorial team which takes care of all day-to-day publishing operations. We have 20 million+ daily active users in Indonesia and are planning to scale up 3X in 1-2 years.
You will:
Monitor trends, news coverage, and social media conversation
Curate content based on strong editorial judgments.
Create accurate and high-quality copy across all our publishing platforms.
Work to enhance the quality of our content within tight timelines.
Simplify communication and rework copy (as needed) for varying demographics.
Edit copy for varying lengths and adhere to various platform-specific guidelines.
Ensure alignment of content to brand requirements and tonality.
Innovate and explore new ways of storytelling
You are:
Experienced in working in the sub-editor role for at least 2 years.
Experienced in working as a journalist or in the media industry for at least 2 years.
Amenable to work in varying shifts.
Outstanding in your ability to use language and grammar.
Outstanding knowledge of the news and current affairs in Indonesia.
Able to communicate in English at a conversational level
Able to work with different teams across regions.
Able to make sharp and strong editorial judgments.
Passionate about working in a face-paced environment.
Experienced in creating visual stories such as social video and infographics
Fantastic at time management and are deeply committed to meeting deadlines.
A self-starter and a team player with exceptional interpersonal skills.
