In this role, you'll take charge in designing growth strategies & roadmaps for GoMart. With P&L management being the core responsibility, you’ll scout out new market opportunities and map out go-to-market strategies to later develop ways to optimize growth levers and customers’ metrics & lifecycle funnels to increase profitability. You’ll get your hands dirty by planning, piloting, and scaling up the initiatives, ensuring a pragmatic approach that generates the highest impact. Your efforts will directly impact the trajectory of GoMart’s performance as a whole - how exciting!

What You Will Do

  • Take charge of GoMart’s annual budget with emphasis on maintaining CM (Contribution Margin) and championing the path to profitability
  • Lead GoMart’s initiatives, strategies, and implementation, with primary focus on customer lifecycle funnels such as organic acquisition and retention
  • Discover business problems and growth opportunities in the business and customer metrics by exploring business data, transaction data, customer activity within apps, and actual customer insights
  • Experiment on single or a combination of multiple initiatives (e.g. communication/CRM, vouchers/promotion, product or pricing changes) and validate solutions through statistical analysis
  • Work closely with the Research and Intelligence team to conduct deeper data analysis and prioritization
  • Collaborate with Region, Consumer Platform, and Marketing teams in the development and implementation of initiatives and strategies
  • Prepare routine reports and present findings as basis of rationale and recommendations for strategic decision making

What You Will Need

  • At least 4 years of experience in a strategy and growth role at a tech company, e-commerce, or management consulting background
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; Understanding of SQL and other statistical tools  is preferred
  • Strong business acumen, an end-to-end the problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work in increments and exponents and balance attention to detail with swift execution
  • Strong leadership skills to manage direct and indirect stakeholders with various backgrounds i.e. marketing, product management, etc
  • Strong communication and project management skills with experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to move and execute quickly in a time efficient manner to allow for continual iteration is a core competency of our team
About the Team

Our GoMart Strategy and Growth team comprises 4 people based in Jakarta. We are responsible for GoMart's overall business, continuously developing and experimenting on innovations to grow our transactions from various standpoints: customers, number of orders, and volume. 

We have grown up to 3x last year. How do we do that? By correctly defining our strategy, where to spend the money, and on which customers. We’re eager to continue the growth and strengthen our presence as the market leader of groceries online platforms in Indonesia. This year, a new thing is coming up and you would not regret being a part of it. 

As a team, we are passionate about growth not only as a field but also as a value. We put forward each of our personal aspirations, happily sharing resources and support so we can achieve each other’s goals. We’re also a group of foodies, spending most of our free time talking about the latest cuisine we taste or make. Some of us are also selling food and tasting each other's upcoming menu releases.
