Sr. QA Engineer - Merchant Experience

Roll up your sleeves and climb on board if you’re ready to be our Senior QA Engineer. In this role, you will be an integral player in the GoPay team based in Bangalore, India, that directly oversees Gojek's payment experiences. With knowledge of the general mobile landscape, current user preferences and trends, and emerging technologies in the mobile engineering field, you'll drive end-to-end testing efforts and take the wheel in the development and success of the product within your team. You'll get ample opportunity to flex your automation testing skills, getting us even closer to our goal of creating a seamless app that will transport Gojek to all corners of the globe.
Test Engineers would need to be able to lead and implement the test strategy for manual as well as automation by working closely with the product and engineering group. You would also work on the latest cutting-edge technologies and focusing on Merchant Payments – Experience team.
What you’ll do:
- Build, contribute and maintain automated test suites and frameworks on App and API utilizing Java or similar.
- Ability to break down business and product feature requirements into tests effectively.
- Deep expertise in Functional, automation testing for Web, APIs, and mobile apps both Android and iOS.
- Work with Business, Product, and Dev teams in close coordination.
- Well-versed with Agile methodology, SDLC and STLC.
What you’ll need:
- 4+ years of experience in App/API/Web using Rest Assured FW, Appium (Android & iOS), Selenium or similar frameworks where the experience in service virtualization / Webservices-API testing through POSTMAN or any similar tool.
- Good knowledge of test Parallelization (API and App), Cross Browser coverage, Selenium Grid Setup, Reporting Plugin’s i.e., Allure, Extent.
- Deep knowledge of both Android & iOS platforms and Hands-on experience with Appium, Eclipse and TestNG.
- Familiar with Android SDK, Charles Proxy, Firebase, Google Play Console & XCode
- Agile / Scrum / Kanban experience Soft Skills and able to work and communicate with cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in CI/CT using Jenkins or similar continuous integration, release and change management tools i.e., GIT or similar.
- Experience in deployments of J2EE applications (using Docker, Kubernetes etc.)
- Good analytical, problem solving and debugging skills.
Bonus points if:
- If you have experience in performance testing.
