As our Sr. PR Lead, you will be responsible for managing the organization’s communication initiatives consisting of all relevant stakeholders and not limited to media personnel. His/her duty includes overseeing a team of public relations professionals to delegate tasks, build strategic initiatives that benefit the company, write or edit press releases before publication and help the company organize a press conference and other PR events.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage the organization’s public relations (PR) team and overseeing all their activities
  • Develop and implementing publicity strategies for the company’s products and services, including a crisis management strategy
  • Reputation management, including but not limited to identify and respond to potential crisis, producing materials and liaise with internal as well as media for contingency plan
  • Create and manage a PR plan, including budgets, timelines, etc.
  • Analyze all media coverage of the organization and drafting appropriate responses
  • Direct social media team to engage audiences across traditional and new media
  • Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media
  • Create content for press releases, byline articles and keynote presentations
  • Evaluate opportunities for partnerships and sponsorships on an on-going basis
  • Organize promotional events such as press tours, conferences, community and blogger gathering
  • Manage media inquiries and interview requests
  • Represent the organization at press conferences, interviews, etc.
  • Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting the organization and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them


  • Should have at least 6 years or more of experience as Public Relations professional, Journalism, Media Manager, Corporate Communication Manager, or other relevant roles
  • English speaker and excellent writer
  • Proficient with Microsoft excel, google sheet, and data analytics tools for generating insights.
  • Proven track record designing and executing successful public relations campaigns at both a local and national level
  • Strong relationships with both local and national business and industry media outlets
  • Experience in acting as a company spokesperson; comfortable and skilled in both broadcast and print media interviews
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills
  • Solid experience with social media including blogs, Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, Twitter, Tiktok etc.
  • Event planning experience
  • BA/MA degree in PR, Marketing, Advertising, Communications or a related discipline
  • Past relevant experience in the Financial industry/fintech is highly valued
