AYANA Hospitality, a reputable name in the hospitality industry, is seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join their team. As the Sous Chef for the Indian section, you will play a key role in maintaining the high standards of our food and beverage offerings. You will be responsible for leading the culinary team, managing the day-to-day operations, creating new menus, and ensuring customer satisfaction. We are looking for someone who is passionate about Indian cuisine and possesses exceptional culinary skills coupled with a flair for creativity and innovation.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the culinary team in the Indian section
  • Develop and implement new menus and dishes that meet customer preferences
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and safety
  • Manage inventory and control food costs
  • Collaborate with other chefs and team members on cross-functional initiatives
  • Train and mentor junior chefs and kitchen staff
  • Participate in hiring and recruiting new team members
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef specializing in Indian cuisine
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Indian spices, ingredients, and preparation techniques
  • Ability to create high-quality Indian dishes with a flair for innovation
  • In-depth understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to handle pressure and deliver quality results while meeting tight deadlines
  • Proficient in using kitchen equipment and technology
