About the role

As a Social Media Specialist, you will be shaping and driving the social presence of one of the first gaming-crypto education platforms of our times in a dynamic and growing region. Working cross-functionally and with competitive research, you’ll be working on social media marketing for PLAY3 in Indonesia, across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn. You will drive brand engagement, create earned conversations, elevate our social presence, and provide regular and clear analysis to the team which will allow the organization to develop a strong understanding of what our users and KOLs care about

What you will do

  • Build engaged social media page for PLAY3 targeted at driving user adoption, with clear strategy and breakthrough creativity.
  • Track engagement and suggest recommendations to improve online performance. Initiate round-the-clock social listening/monitoring workflows and processes, proactive and reactive escalation, and management of user sentiment across social platforms.
  • Work closely with the growth marketing team on paid media amplification as well as the brand team on conveying the right brand message to the audience. Track brand health and owned, earned, and paid reportings for campaigns and initiatives.

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.    
  • Experience in creativity and data driven optimization (e.g., social and influencer marketing).
  • Experience in digital media planning and optimization.
  • Ability to speak and write in Indonesian and English fluently.
  • Experience in statistical analysis, datasets, and social analytics. 
  • Strong knowledge and interest in blockchain / crypto / WEB3.
  • Knowledge of Social Media ecosystem (e.g., user, creator, advertiser) with an understanding of short-form video trends (e.g. TikTok, Reels, Stories) and community platforms especially Discord and Twitter, as well as Indonesian market - how they consume content and why they engage with content.
  • Knowledge of Social Media and Influencer Marketing (if applicable) best practices and campaigns in Indonesia (i.e., owned, earned, and paid social media).    
  • Knowledge of social media monitoring and listening tools (i.e., have built and maintained processes to manage user sentiment across social platforms).
  • Exceptional communication and analytical skills with the ability to work independently, form your own point of view, and recommendations.   
  • A passion for content, entertainment, and cultural trends. 
  • Growth mindset to want to try and roll out new initiatives in-market, and go the extra mile in learning professionally and personally.
