Sharia Compliance Specialist

· Review new product/service proposal in DPS Meeting to obtain the approval and/or opinion from DPS;
· Manage the documentation of all the approval and opinion from DPS;
· Conduct shariah advisory function on day-to-day basis to ensure operational comply with the shariah principles, existing regulations as well as fatwa from DSN-MUI;
· Serve as liaison with DPS, DSN-MUI, Internal and External Auditor, and other governing bodies;
· Observe shariah rules/regulations/fatwa issued by DSN-MUI, BI, and DPS to be adopted and implemented;
· Review, assess, and provide advice from shariah compliance perspective to ensure the product and/or services are shariah compliant.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree from a reputable university;
- At least 2 years of experience in sharia compliance area;
- Strong communication & negotiation skill;
- Strong problem solver & decision maker;
- Having knowledge of Islamic Finance area.
