Senior Transaction Reconciliation and Treasury Manager

Job Description

• As the Senior Transaction Reconciliation and Treasury Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire process of recording, receiving, and disbursing funds from both domestic remittance transactions and peer-to-peer lending activities in line with our business workflow. You will ensure accuracy and consistency in the records and take corrective action when discrepancies are identified.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the reconciliation team and treasury operations to ensure effective execution of tasks.
• Ensure accurate recording of all domestic remittance transactions and peer-to-peer lending activities in compliance with internal guidelines and applicable regulations.
• Develop, implement, and oversee efficient and effective reconciliation processes to ensure smooth business operations for both the remittance and lending divisions.
• Review and analyze reconciliation reports regularly to identify potential issues and formulate improvement actions for both segments.
• Manage liquidity and optimize cash flow by closely monitoring daily cash positions, forecasting funding requirements, and making informed decisions to support operational needs.
• Oversee investments and manage relationships with financial institutions to maximize returns while minimizing risks.
• Monitor market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes to assess potential impacts on the company's financial position and provide strategic recommendations.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to resolve issues that may arise during the reconciliation process for both domestic remittances and P2P lending.
• Manage communication with partners and service providers to ensure information availability and prompt issue resolution for both business segments.
• Oversee the handling of fund reversals, risk assessment, and other related matters for both domestic remittance and lending operations.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to enhance the quality of the reconciliation process and treasury operations.
• Collaborate with senior management to define and execute strategic financial plans aligned with the company's growth objectives.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related fields.
• Minimum of 7-9 years of experience in transaction reconciliation, particularly within fintech companies or similar industries
• Experience in team management and strong leadership skills.
• In-depth understanding of the processes and business workflow in the fintech industry, especially in domestic remittance.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large-scale transactional data.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in reconciliation and problem-solving.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of relevant rules and regulations in the fintech industry.
