JOB SUMMARY

Inspectorio's Backend Engineers are responsible for developing high-available, scalable, and user-oriented applications. At Inspectorio, we value engineers who show great attention to detail and possess a team player mindset. As a Backend Engineer at Inspectorio, you will have a chance to work with a high-paced, dedicated team that always strives for excellence. You will be working directly with Product Owners, Designers, DevOps, and other departments to ensure high quality, user-oriented and continuous releases.

In Inspectorio, we expect our engineers to ensure the system’s scalability, maintainability, extendability at all times. At the same time, we also expect our engineers to be creative and flexible, embrace uncertainties.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, test, maintain, release and optimize backend-based services.
• Work closely with Product Owners, Designers, DevOps, and other departments to ensure on-time, high-quality deliveries.
• Write server-side applications that are clean, easy to understand, maintain and scale.
• Contribute to the engineering culture. Ensure an environment where knowledge is shared openly, mistakes are embraced and everyone is learning from each other.
• Monitor and improve applications' performance. Be responsible for services’ availability.
• Design database model, application structure. Write and maintain API specifications. Write and maintain design documentation.

REQUIREMENTS

• Excellent English communication skills.
• 5+ years working experience as a NodeJS developer.
• In-depth knowledge of PostgresQL or equivalent RDBMS.
• In-depth knowledge of building a high-performance, decoupled, testable, maintainable application.
• Ensure code quality and performance optimization.
• Able to understand, design, and write technical documentation.
• Familiar with Agile methodology and continuous delivery.
• Experience with GraphQL and Python/Django is a plus.
• Experience with K8s and GCloud is a plus.
• Experience with logging, tracing, and monitoring tools is a plus.
