About the Role
A great opportunity awaits our Senior Risk Analyst of the Consumer Platform who will take the wheel in protecting the integrity and safety of our Customers and the Gojek business within our ever-expanding ecosystem. Reporting directly to the Head of Risk - Consumer Platform, you’ll act as the stream's key analyst, monitoring risk metrics, and designing a holistic approach to implementing risk management strategies. You’ll cultivate an effective risk culture within the organization, influencing functional stakeholders to implement other broad risk control strategies within their domains. Your efforts will directly bolster the continuous improvement of our platform integrity aimed at further amplifying users’ trust and perception of Gojek, ensuring a safe platform our users can count on and love to come back to.
What You Will Do
- Act as the key risk analyst and thought partner amongst business teams, conducting deep dives and analyses on consumer risk-related issues.
- Closely monitor for anomalies and identify underlying drivers in key risk and business metrics.
- Develop and implement robust risk management strategies that aim to mitigate key risk areas that our Customers and the business may be exposed to.
- Collaborate with the wider Risk Management family and key stakeholders on initiatives that continuously bolster our capability to protect and safeguard the safety of our customers, as well as maintain the integrity of our business.
What You Will Need
- At least 3 years of experience in analytical, problem-solving roles in a fast-paced environment (prior experience in consumer fraud/risk domain is preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy and present them clearly and coherently to various stakeholders
- Should be able to work independently, take quick decisions & recommend effective solutions on a day-to-day basis, and always backed by strong data points
- Adept at wrangling both structured & unstructured data and crunching insights with the help of SQL, BigQuery, Python, R, etc., and visualization tools like Tableau, DataStudio, etc.
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills focused on improving collaboration, knowledge, and information exchange across various stakeholders.
- Being exposed to building statistical models using both unsupervised & supervised learning algorithms is a plus.

Our team consists of multinational and multi-background individuals, who work together to anticipate and predict potential threats to our platform, design and build tools to fight against and mitigate these threats, and implement and enforce these systems at scale. We partner closely with several cross-functional teams to ensure safe and secure transactions for our users, our Gojek businesses, and our extended ecosystem.
Our team is constantly working on projects that continuously bolster our platform, maintain Gojek’s overall integrity, and improve the resilience of our ecosystem across all the countries and regions we operate in. This is a particularly exciting time to join our family as we’re focused on scaling this team to support Gojek’s growing markets, businesses, and future product launches, propelling our services to all corners of the globe.
