Senior IT Executive

What you will be doing

• Provide support for all IT related system and equipment to employees across all branches and warehouses in Malaysia
• Areas of support includes PC hardware, PC applications, printers/multifunction devices, network, server applications and all areas covered under IT
• Work on the development of processes and documentation to improve the ability of the service desk to detect and resolve problems efficiently
• Ensure IT initiatives comply and are aligned with IT Policy and corporate standards. Facilitate engagement with corporate Regional / Global IT Teams (Security, Network, and Client Serves organizations) as needed. Participate in implementation & rollout of IT Projects.
• Provide onsite support as needed for the coordination of Corporate IT initiatives such as PC refresh, LAN/WAN upgrades, and wireless network upgrades
• Install and maintain computer software on users’ devices s such as Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite, Antivirus, Malware protection and take appropriate measure to protect Business from Cyber-attacks.
• Contribute to continual service improvement by assisting with Standard Operations Procedures creation, maintenance, and compliance
• On occasion, may perform off-hours maintenance and deployments for system releases and/or provide 24x7 support to maintain service availability or to meet customer SLAs.

The successful candidate

• Bachelor Degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunication, MIS or related fields
• At least 5 years’ experience in information technology
• Experience in IT project Implementation
• Strong background in information & network infrastructure and security
• Good knowledge of IT management, infrastructure, security, budget and purchasing
• Good analytical skill with problem solving, decision making and planning skills
• Good leadership, service mind, responsible, positive attitude and able to work under pressure
• Good communication in English and local language
