Senior Front End Engineer - Reporting

The Role
The Reporting team was established to solve our customer’s pain in reconciling their internal transactions. Providing accurate, fast, and reliable information inside the reports would be the main focus of the team. As the senior frontend engineer, you will be required to architect, implement, and make sure the UI implementation is being done according to standard and best practices. You will work with the backend engineer to provide the most scalable and informative interface for our customers and provide the best experience for them to reconcile their transactions. Making sure that our customers are able to get information promptly, seamlessly and accurately will be your top priority.
Outcomes
- Develop and enhance interactive user experience by using the best practices in modern Front End development.
- Improve the UI app layout and structure to ensure reliability, scalability and security.
- Can quickly come up with MVP models and propose solutions for complex problems.
- Produce high-quality maintainable code, test it, collaboratively review it and ship it.
- Identify areas to improve and scale our architecture and application design.
- Collaborate extensively with Team Lead, Product Managers, Designers, and fellow Engineers to develop features that drive our metrics.
- Lead teams to the successful delivery of software projects
What we’re looking for
You may be a good fit if
- You have at least 4 years of engineering experience with proven management wins, but fresh graduates are welcomed.
- You have successful track record of developing quality software products and shipping production-ready software
- You are expertised in JavaScript and ReactJS, and have strong knowledge of state management such as redux
- You have strong knowledge of CSS and CSS preprocessors such as SASS, LESS
- You have strong knowledge of Frontend application build tool such as webpack
- You have strong knowledge of REST and pub/sub design patterns
- You have experiences with frontend unit test frameworks such as jest, mocha
- You have the ability to mentor and level up other software engineers on your team
- You are experienced with Scrum/Agile development methodologies
- You have the ability to break down complex product requirements into well-groomed user stories
- You are familiar with implementing frontend component framework
It would be amazing if you also have
- Experience in financial technology domain
- Familiarity with AWS technologies
- Familiarity with containerization, including docker and kubernetes
